Card game version for 8 to 30 guests. No board needed. Although this isn't a murder mystery party game, it is still a challenging mystery to solve.
As host you can still fully participate. You just divide the clues up.
This is one of the best games for girls - and you can use it for just girls by having 4 girls play the 4 male suspect roles - Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Aladdin and Huck Finn. There are 11 optional female roles, so you could host an all girl party with up to 19 girls (or up to 30 if you just tell the extra girls to dress as their favorite book character).
.OVERVIEW: After dark, when many characters were out of their books enjoying a sojourn in the night air, a crime was committed, grim and grave, right in our own library. As a result his Majesty Henry VIII – that famous monarch from the English history books – has disappeared. Gathered at this table are the characters who were present in the library at the time of the nasty deed. Fortunately the master detective Master Sherlock Holmes is here to investigate, so the perpetrator of this heinous act will no doubt be revealed as this investigation proceeds.
SUSPECTS: Alice In Wonderland, Huck Finn, Cinderella, Pinocchio, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan, Goldilocks and Aladdin.
